The TECH Bundle (Please Read Description Before Ordering)

Students are expected to attend scheduled services on a regular basis. Any student who is absent from their scheduled service(s) on three (3) separate days will be dismissed from the program.

Emergency absences are considered 24 – 48 hours prior to the scheduled event. These emergency absences will be excused if due to illness, medical, or other appointment that cannot be rescheduled, family emergency, and an event such as a funeral or birth.

If an emergency should arise, every effort should be made to quickly reschedule services, if applicable. If possible, please provide adequate notice at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled activity.
Students must report to their scheduled service, whether virtual or onsite, and sign-in by the indicated program start time. Students will be considered tardy if they sign-in more than ten (10) minutes after the start time. Three (3) unexcused tardies equals one absence.

The safety of our students is paramount to the ACE staff. Therefore, an accurate account of student attendance must be maintained when participating in ACE program services. If a student will not be attending the activity as scheduled, it is critical that the student’s parent/guardian call the SSC and report the student’s absence from the service. Again, it is imperative to provide adequate notice along with the reason for missing, at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled activity. Please be mindful that the ACE staff and service providers have spent countless hours planning these services and non-attendance can jeopardize access to future opportunities.

To avoid miscommunication at service sites, please be sure to call the SSC even when an absence has been communicated to the service provider’s staff orally.

Please help us avoid unnecessary concern about a student’s safety by calling the SSC whenever a student will be absent from a scheduled activity.
The Program enrollment packet includes a form for parents/guardians to indicate how students will leave their activities. All secondary students must either sign themselves out or be signed out by an authorized adult at the end of each applicable service. All primary/elementary students must be signed out by an authorized adult when leaving an onsite/in-person service.

When the student is picked up from their scheduled service, they will not be released to anyone other than a parent, guardian, or person listed on the student’s consent form. The parent/guardian must notify the SSC in writing prior to pick-up if the student is to be released to someone other than the person(s) listed. If a staff member is unfamiliar with the person picking up a student, the staff member will ask to see or make copy of the picture identification before the student is released.
